Is there still life after the bus pass?

Retirement holds many dreams for many people, but whilst most are checking out their retirement concessions, ex policeman Mike Quayle has decided to get himself a new career, and re-locate his life to sunny Northern Cyprus.

Back in 1999 whilst on holiday in Mauritius, Mike completed his PADI Open Water Diver course. Bitten by the diving bug, over the years Mike has gone on to obtain more diving qualifications.

At 61 in need of a life change and lured by the prospect of sunny skies, Mike decided to complete an IE to become a PADI Diving Instructor.

Mike found the course quite daunting being the eldest pupil, but being physically fit and determined, he went on to achieve his qualification.

While some retired folk are deciding where their bus-pass will take them, Mike will be donning his fins in sunny Cyprus ready to take his student divers off on an adventure.
